How you can make a difference

Horsepower for Hope exists to support the Kids with Cancer Society. Our group of committed, caring and thoughtful drivers, volunteers and committee members do what we can to help make a difference in the lives of the children and their families affected by childhood cancer.

There are many ways you can get involved and support the KWCS through H4H:

Bring your awesome car and join the rally!

Entry is $250 per car, and we’ll give you a ‘sponsor me’ page so you can help raise funds for the charity.

Two ways to donate

Donate to a drivers page

Every year, Horsepower for Hope runs a major event, and includes 100+ drivers and their awesome cars. These generous drivers are out to help raise money for the Kids with Cancer Society. If you are looking to donate to their page, click here and we’ll help you locate their page.

Donate directly to Kids with Cancer Society

Don’t have a specific driver to sponsor, donate directly to the Kids with Cancer Society.

F.A.Q.

Safety is our number one priority; we are in constant communication with the society and watching AHS regulations to make sure we are in full compliance. We changed from a static show to a rally format as this allowed us to keep interactions to a minimum, the stops were kept private even from the drivers to minimise any chance of crowds, all drivers and volunteers were required to wear masks when outside of their personal vehicles and all participants were provided with a “care package” containing masks and hand sanitizer.

There are multiple ways you can show your support; you can register as a driver, sign up as sponsor, donate to the silent auction, make a financial donation, become a volunteer or even just liking and sharing our social media posts. Everything helps us make the event a success.

100% of profits gets donated to the society, everyone involved with the event is a volunteer. We work hard to keep the expenses to a bare minimum, our first year they came in at 4% and were very proud to say thanks to our generous sponsors that year two we had 0% overheads which meant every single penny raised was donated!

ANY! We welcome all makes and models, the event is about bringing the community together to raise money not about what you drive, we love having such a wide variety of vehicles participate and always look forward to seeing what will show up.

The rally format will involve participants being grouped off into teams, in your groups you will be given an itinerary of routes and rally stops to go to throughout the day, at each stop there will be fun activities to participate in either individually or as a group, you earn points for your team and at the end of the day the group with most points will win some incredible prizes! It’s a great way to have fun for a good cause and meet some new faces along the way.
